60s Italian Pucci Dress Designer Coton Mini Dress Mod
A wonderful 100% cotton couture Pucci dress, from the 1960's!!I love the intricate collar that is constructed of pie sections in the front, and V-neck in the back! I wore this dress once, in the 80's, to an art opening, and since then it has been in storage. Once when I was at the NYC Museum of Modern Art I saw this exact dress on display with matching panty hose. I spent 30 years looking for those panty hose, but no luck!
Label says this dress was made in Florence, Italy, and was sold in a Saks Fifth Avenue department store. The size reads 12, but the measurements translate to a smaller contemporary size, so please go by measurements only.

The original zipper, which was hand stitched into the dress (see close up) needs to be replaced. However, I don't want to machine stitch a new one in, which is why it is still unrepaired! There is one very feint stain under one armhole..see photo), but no other issues. A few dry cleanings should work. I hate to let this go.....but 'd rather see someone actually wear it!
