60s Berry Mod Dress With Ruffled Ribbons And Sequins
This is one of the greatest 1960s frocks ever--Twiggy would eat to wear it. It appears to be homemade but done very well, with sequins and beads tucked among squiggles of intricate ribbonwork. The best part, though, is the sleeves--they flare out from the elbow for some snapping and swaying.

The zipper was put in by hand, with very neat stitches. The zipper is metal and the fabric is a crepe that I think is made from rayon but might by polyester.
Condition: vintage very good. There are no stains, but there is some fading around the neck seam--not noticeable when worn. The underarms and the rest of the lining are clean, as pictured. There is a small hole, about the size of a worn pencil tip, on the right shoulder. It's probably from a brooch; if I were to keep this, I'd put on some fray-check and pin another brooch on top.
Note that this is a nonsmoking home but it does harbor some feline Americans. The kitten will not come with your purchase, but she might help pack it.
