60s/70s True Vintage Penny Lane Leather Lace Campus Boots
These are about as clean a pair of true vintage leather lace ups you will ever find. And a great larger size we bigger foot people often struggle to find.
As you can see in pictures even the bottom of the gum soles, which always show dirt and age , looks almost new. There are some light water spots etc as for these are over 50 years old but other than that amazing. You can always have polished if the minor spots bother you and I have yet to do my intense cleaning and bi annual oil which often darkens the color a bit but also blends in small issues.
I am a size 8-8.5 and these fit with a bit of room so the size 9 on boot seems a bit larger than actual contemporary size. I would go 8 to be comfortable.
I take outer measurements. I place back of boot firm against the wall and place a tape or yard stick against all in center of boot. I measure from wall to toe tip. It is best to COMPARE find a like pair ( toe cut and heel height helps) place back of boot firm against wall and measure to center toe and than the widest part of sole. I also took measurement by placing tape at back of boot and running on the side to toe. I have supplied photos of three ways I have measured.
I have sold dozens and dozens of boots and shoes and have great reviews and happy clients based on measurements.
Since closed boots are impossible to get inner size accurately my measurements are approximate within a fraction or two.
