60s/70s Cashmere Coat By Saks Fifth Avenue
This jacket was well loved and owned by a woman who worked as a fashion designer in New York in the 60s, according to her daughter in law.
The satin lining is in very good condition, but coming unstitched near the label which I will restitch. I peeked in and it looks as if the is lined with a wool insulation for even more warmth. It is heavy!
The craftsmanship here in the stitching looks Top notch and it's a great example of vintage being made to last.
Shown on a small, best fit medium.
Detailed measurements:
Bust - 42 inches
Waist - 50 inches
Body Length - 39.5 inches
