An immaculate black velvet vest (waistcoat) from the 70's, by Center Stage ll. I found other Center Stage garments on line, but no other "center stage ll". Not sure what the significance of the "ll" is! Anyway, this has no flaws...looks like it was made yesterday!
It has a VERY mod scoop neckline, plastic pearl-looking buttons, and two large patch pockets. Very British MOD looking, and as you can see, with a man's dress shirt, looks very Ralph Lauren! This is a sturdy, medium weight fabric...could be polyester or acrylic. There are no bust darts, so a man could wear this too. Please refer to measurements for size.
