50s Vintage Avocado Dalmation Dots Printed Cotton Fitted Pencil Skirt Day Dress
1950s (maybe early 60s but I'm really leaning on the earlier side with this one) crisp cotton day dress in a fantastic print of oblong black dots over an avocado green ground. The dress has rounded shoulders, short sleeves, a fitted bodice, and a nipped waist. The skirt is slim and has front pleats and a wonderful asymmetrical rear kick pleat. The dress buttons to the waist with self-fabric buttons and it has a side metal zipper.
◊ condition: Great overall but it does have a couple of faint spots. One is just underneath one of the dots below the front of the waist and one is near the hem on the front of the skirt. As you can see in the photos (both areas are shown) these are not easy to see and the overall aesthetics of this wonderful piece are unaffected. It is clean and ready to wear.
