50s Midcentury Emerald-cut Diamanté Choker Necklace By Kramer

50s Midcentury Emerald-cut Diamanté Choker Necklace By Kramer

This necklace is so perfect— it's surprisingly difficult to find these midcentury diamanté necklaces as a true choker length, and this one is so special, and in FABULOUS condition! It was made in the 1950s by Kramer, a New York jeweler who was known for creating costume jewelry of an exceptional quality (from the 1940s until about the 1970s) using the highest quality Austrian crystals. For some time, the firm produced jewelry for Christian Dior. I presume that the stones in this necklace are Austrian crystal, and they are expertly faceted in emerald and round cut to emulate the sparkle of actual diamonds. It measures 12.75" and closes with a box clasp in the back. The Vintage Diamanté Necklace with Emerald Drops and Vintage 1960s Sequin Dress pictured is also available in my shop.

Great vintage condition. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email [email protected] for additional photos or measurements.
