Vintage 1950’s Fuller Fabrics Modern Masters Marc Chagall dress. One of the greatest pieces in our collection. The print is called . There is no printed info on the fabric of this dress but I have had other pieces in this print and can provide a picture of the info. The print has women hidden throughout. Cotton fabric, metal back zipper. It is commercially made. This fabric was used by Claire McCardell, please contact me if you would like pictures. Interestingly, a duplicate dress that was an exact copy of this one sold at auction in 2011 as a Claire McCardell. Doing some research I do not believe these are actually McCardell, but it’s a cool little side story and a link is provided below.
