Very cute vintage 1950's sunhat. Body is an ivory novelty braided straw with a taupe grosgrain ruffle around the wide brim. Crown is wrapped in another grosgrain ribbon with a back bow.
Interior has a grosgrain placement cap for security.
The only label is a Consumers Protection Label indicating a size 22.
As for the condition, the hatband appears to be slightly faded. Also there is a smudge of soiling on the inside of the crown which doesn't show through to the outside. Otherwise this hat is a cutie.
Inner circumference is 21 1/2 inches. Brim extends 3 1/2 inches in the front, 3 inches on the sides and 2 inches in the back.
