50s Gold Emerald Green Faceted Glass Cocktail Ring

This is a large statement ring. The stone is large, almost 1 x .5 inches. The ring size is set at a size 8, but can adjust down to a six. Any bigger or smaller would compromise the ring's metal. The rings metal shank is plated gold with a striated texture. The gold plating is in excellent condition. The prongs holding the long hexagonal, faceted glass stone seem to be strong and secure. These large rings with cut glass were commonly known as cocktail rings at the time. This one is transparent and a great emerald green color.
