50s Atomic Mcm Hand Printed Abstract Miro Inspired Art Fabric In Silver and Black On Rust Colored Fabric Bolero Jacket by Maya De Mexico

A "friend " of mine owes us money, so she gives me things now and then, and this bolero jacket is one of those things. Too small for me to wear across the shoulders and the arms are too narrow for me, so I have to sell it, even though the fabric is the most amazing piece of design I have seen in any clothing. The shapes are inspired by artwork by Joan Miro, with no doubt. The silver "paint" that was used when this was silkscreened (?) is very shiny, and the fabric is rather stiff, like a linen.....I had to steam it into submission on a high heat, to press it. The cuffs were let down, but I pressed them back up, as the extra cuff fabric is sewn on, not just an extension of the sleeve. Damn, I wish it fit me, and I thought about letting it out or adding black fabric , but it's a lot of work. There is some minor fade in places. I think the photos show the fade on the sleeve and arm areas and a bit in front....so it was not kept in the dark, before I got it. The cut is marvelous, I LOVE boleros as they are so flattering. Think how amazing this would look with black Capri pants! What if it had a matching circle skirt at one point? Wow! The price is high because the fabric is one of a kind...it should be copied and replicated! Also rare! Go by measurements:
Bust: 32"
shoulder span: 15"
length: 13. 25"
arm length: 19'
arm width: 10 " around.
