50s/60s Vintage Italian Woven Raffia Box Purse Scarf Holes

Ok, so it took my forever to figure out what the gold toned grommets were on the side panel of the bag. They are used to hold a scarf which was very popular in the 50s 60s.. The material is a a black coated raffia. Women’s black, top handle bag.

Good condition - the lining is in great condition and there are no tears in the raffia.
