30s-style Cutout Oxford Heels | Sz. 9-10

These vintage leather shoes were made by Amalfi in the 1990s, but they are actually a really accurate take on the flapper-style oxford heels of the 1930s, right down to the slightly flared shape of the heel (see this example from the Met's collection). The cutouts add an ounce of sex-appeal to the otherwise serious style. They are exceptionally well-made, crafted in Italy from fine leather. The color is a very deep mahogany, which is wonderfully neutral enough tot pair with literally anything (including black). They are marked a size US 9.5. These are SO comfortable to wear. (I typically have issues with closed-toe shoes due to some foot issues but these were for some reason incredibly comfortable to me!)

Great vintage condition. The soles have been reenforced by a cobbler. There is some natural creasing to the leather, which adds to the vintage appeal, and they present beautifully when worn.
