1978 "punk Rock 1000 Nights At The Roxy" Book On British Punk Rock Bands Micheal Dempsey Big O Publishing Holy Grail
I bought this RARE book in London, when I lived there, some time in the 70s. I left the UK in 1979, after ten years as an American political refuge, because I did not support the Vietnam War, and the FBI were hounding my family. Long story! Anyway, the sticker is still on the book, and it says I paid two pounds and 50 pence. Good investment, because Abe's Books, and Amazon want over $1, 000 for this puppy! It did not take long for the binding to disintegrate, as it is very poorly made. I am looking into what it costs to have it professionally re bound. For now I am asking $800. 00, until I get more information, but it looks like $200 is close, according to what I have read. Apparently there is a cheap reprint, but this is the first edition, and will only go up in value.
