1963 Rare 1st Ed. Signed "arturo and Mr. Bang" Hard Cover with Book Jacket Signed with Cartoon by Illustrator Signed by Author by Beatrice & Ferrin Fraser
1963 Rare 1st Ed. Signed "arturo and Mr. Bang" Hard Cover with Book Jacket Signed with Cartoon by Illustrator Signed by Author by Beatrice & Ferrin Fraser
My favorite part, other than the quirky illustrations, is that the illustrator drew a likeness of the key character, along with his signature. It is also signed by the authors, and there is an inscription from a grandmother to her grandson, opposite the other signatures. There is a copy of this same first edition, at Abe's Books, signed by only the authors, for $79. As I have the illustrator, as well, with the drawing, I am charging $99. 00. I also like the drawing of Kennedy Center, in NYC, as it is such an architecture landmark. The book jacket inside flap has a clipped corner.
